2) Do not mix fresh flowers with silks inside wedding bouquets and body flowers. If your bouquets are real, the flowers on your body must be real and vice versa. Some exceptions include flowers for the little ones. The flowers of flower girls and ring bearers can be silk. Since kids tend to be a bit rough around the edges, artificial ones have a much better chance of surviving the little ones happy day. The disposable bouquet is the other exception to the rule. Since this bouquet must withstand harsh conditions, silks are quite acceptable for this traditional floral item.
3) Many brides choose fresh flowers for their wedding bouquets and body flowers, but prefer to have silks for their centerpieces. Done in a classy, classy way, this can work well. They should be exactly the same shades, especially if you go with red.
4) Do not mix fresh and artificial produce in the same arrangement. For example, if you are floating a red rose in a rose bowl as a centerpiece, don’t use silk flower accents in the arrangement itself. Silk flower petals are the exception; they are much more practical and most seem quite realistic.
